![]() Put the chiselable block into the chisel and look. If you want to know what options you have, the best method is experimentation. The number of chiseled block variants varies from block to block. Below is a list of blocks that are chiselable. To move the texture up or down, hit the up or down buttons. To move the texture left or right, hit the left or right buttons. When you look at a block with the wand in your hand, you will see 4 triangular buttons, one in each direction. You can use the Ender Offset Wand to shift the texture up and down or left and right so that it aligns properly. This texture is 3x3 blocks but when you place the blocks, they could place in an order so that the texture is not lined up properly. One example of this is the “Massive Fan” chiseled variant of the Factory Block. This tool is a rather specific item which can be used on chiseled multiblock structures. If you supply the Auto Chisel with power, it will chisel its input much faster. The Auto Chisel does not require power, but it will use the durability of the chisel which you have provided. ![]() Now, any compatible blocks you place in the left hand side of the GUI will automatically be chiseled into your filter block. Then place the chiseled block variant that you wish to produce in the middle slot, below the arrow pointing at your chisel (I will refer to this slot as the filter from now on). Supply the Auto Chisel with a chisel (iron, diamond, or iChisel). This button might not be implemented in this version. I have done a lot of experimentation and have not been able to make any of these buttons do anything. When you press this button it cycles between Single, Panel, Hollow, and Plus. You might have noticed the button directly below the preview box. To unselect a block from your inventory, left click an empty inventory slot or exit the GUI. When you press this button, all of the blocks in your inventory that are highlighted in blue will be chiseled into the variant which you have selected. If you are holding shift, it will say Chisel All. The block you selected will be visible in the preview in the top left. Now, click a chiseled block variant that you want to transform the blocks in your inventory to. If you press shift, all blocks highlighted in green will become highlighted in blue. The block you clicked on will be highlighted in blue, and all other blocks of that type in your inventory will be highlighted in green. When you open the iChisel GUI by right clicking with the iChisel in hand, left click on a block in your inventory. The iChisel can also be used to chisel blocks in your inventory very quickly. Contiguous 2D will chisel every block that is chiselable within 10 blocks of the block you clicked on only along the plane of the current side (in 2 dimensions). Contiguous will chisel every block that is chiselable within 10 blocks of the block you clicked on. It has 10,048 durability and has all the functionality of the diamond chisel. The iChisel is an even more powerful chisel than the diamond chisel. If any of the blocks in the range of your chisel are not chiselable, they will be ignored. The bottom right button will set the mode to row and will chisel the block you clicked on, as well as the block to the left and right. The bottom left button will set the mode to column and will chisel the block you clicked on, as well as the block above and below. The top right button will set the mode to panel, and will chisel a 3x3 of blocks centered around the block you clicked on. ![]() ![]() The top left button will set the mode to single, and will chisel only the block you click on. With the GUI open you will be able to see 4 different buttons on the left side. It has all the functionality of the regular chisel, but you can also select a chisel mode in the GUI. There is also a diamond chisel which has 5,056 durability. Every single chisel action that you do will use some of your chisel’s durability, of which it has 512. Now, any block of a compatible type that you left click with your chisel will be turned into whatever chiseled variant you placed in the top left of your Chisel GUI. Alternatively, you can place whatever block you want in the top left of the GUI and leave the GUI by hitting escape (esc). You can then take the block that you want out of the large grid on the right side of the GUI. Place any of the chiselable (yes, I invented a word) blocks into the box in the top left of the GUI to see what variants you can turn it into. Then, with your chisel in hand, right click to open the chisel GUI. Craft a chisel with a stick and an iron ingot in a crafting table. The fundamentals of the Chisel mod are very simple. Adds a huge amount of variety for builders to play around with. The Chisel mod adds three new tools to the game which allow the player to alter the look of vanilla blocks drastically.
